Initial Visit

All initial visits at iSmile orthodontics are 100% complimentary! Your first visit to our office will give you the opportunity to meet our team and to learn what orthodontics is all about. While you’re here, Dr. Van Gemert will do a thorough exam and will take some diagnostic records, including a series of pictures and x-rays. This will allow Dr. Van Gemert to determine your specific orthodontic needs, as well as create a customized treatment plan for you. In addition, a member of our team will review financial information, insurance options and payment plan with you before you leave. Our office understands that choosing to have orthodontic treatment is a big decision, and we want to make sure that you have all the information you need to determine what treatment is best for you!

When you’re ready, please contact our office by phone, text or email to schedule your complimentary initial exam. We can’t wait to meet you and look forward to hearing from you soon!

Same day braces!

If you are eager to start your smile transformation, we can often start treatment on the same day as your consultation! However, if a different day works better for you, we will happily schedule you an appointment with Dr. Van Gemert to get your braces or Invisalign treatment started.

Regular Appointments

Once your dental appliances have been placed, you will have regularly scheduled visits with us approximately every 6 to 10 weeks for adjustments. These appointments generally take around 20-30 minutes. Our goal is to make your regular orthodontic appointments as convenient for you as possible, so please let us know what days and times work best for you when it comes time to schedule.

Our office understands that there may come a time when you’re running late or need to reschedule. If you’re running late, please call us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you need to reschedule, we ask that you please be courteous to us and your fellow patients by cancelling appointments no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
