What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first visit at iSmile Orthodontics is easy, unhurried, and completely free. There's no referral needed and no obligation. We built the appointment around one thing. Giving you a clear picture of your smile options so you can decide what feels right.

Here's how it usually goes. Our smile team greets you at the door and gets you settled. Dr. Lauren sits down with you to talk through what brought you in, what you're hoping to change, and any questions on your mind. We use our iTero scanner and digital imaging to take a look at your teeth without messy impressions, then walk you through what treatment could look like, how long it might take, and what it would cost.

You leave with a plan, a clear estimate, and the info you need to make a confident decision. That's it. No pressure and no upsell. Just an honest conversation about your smile.

Spokane Braces

Braces remain a leading choice at iSmile Orthodontics in Spokane for addressing complex dental issues effectively. They straighten teeth and close gaps more quickly than many alternatives, potentially reducing your overall treatment duration.

In Spokane, braces are a cost-effective orthodontic option. They get great results without the need for advanced technology or expensive equipment required by newer treatments.

Traditional braces, made of metal or ceramic brackets connected by wires and tiny elastics, are proven to be highly effective. This system precisely aligns your teeth into the desired position through gradual movement, ensured by regular check-ups with Dr. Lauren.

Spokane Clear Aligners

In Spokane, clear aligners are a preferred choice among patients at iSmile Orthodontics, offering a discreet alternative to traditional braces. This innovative treatment involves a series of clear, removable aligners that are custom-made for a precise fit over your teeth.

Dr. Lauren recommends changing your aligners approximately every one to two weeks to gradually guide your teeth into their ideal alignment. It is crucial to wear them for 20 – 22 hours a day to get the best results. Not wearing the aligners as prescribed can prolong your treatment time.

Clear aligners are suitable for addressing many common orthodontic issues but might not be ideal for extremely complex cases. Dr. Lauren provides a free consultation at iSmile Orthodontics in Spokane to assess if Invisalign is the right option for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does orthodontic treatment cost in Spokane?

Costs vary by treatment type, length, and complexity. We talk pricing openly during your free consult and offer flexible payment options so care fits your budget. You'll get a clear estimate before starting, with no surprises along the way.

How long does braces or clear aligner treatment take?

Most family members finish within 12 to 24 months, though timelines vary. Simpler cases can wrap up in as little as 6 to 12 months, while more involved cases take longer. Dr. Lauren gives you a time estimate at your free consult.

At what age should my child see an orthodontist?

Dr. Lauren recommends an evaluation by age seven, as advised by the American Association of Orthodontists. This early checkup lets us spot developing issues like crossbites, crowding, or jaw growth concerns while there's still time to guide growth naturally.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes. Every first visit is a free consultation, in-office or virtually, with no referral needed.

Can adults get orthodontic treatment?

Absolutely. Adults make up a growing share of our family here, and it's never too late to straighten your teeth or correct your bite. Clear aligners and clear braces are popular choices for a discreet option that fits professional life.
